Virginia 2012 License Renewals - Virginia resident and nonresident Surplus Lines Broker, Consultant, and Viatical Settlement Broker licenses are now available for renewal at www.sircon.com/virginia. These licenses expire on June 30 of each calendar year. Renewal of these license types must be made online prior to July 1, 2012. Licensees may also check their license renewal status and print their license online from the above website. The online renewal process for these licenses will close after June 30, 2012. Licensees that fail to renew by June 30, must apply for a NEW license. Please direct any questions you may have via email to the Virginia Bureau of Insurance, Agent Licensing Section at bureauofinsurance@scc.virginia.gov.
Please allow a minimum of 15 business days for application processing before contacting the Bureau concerning the status of an application.
Print Your License Online
The ability to print Virginia licenses online is now available. To print a license online, select "Print a license" in the left-hand column of this page. This service is free for up to 30 days after license approval and renewal for license applications and license renewals completed through Compliance Express. Duplicate license copies can be printed at any other time for a Sircon service fee.

Virginia Continuing Education
The deadline for Virginia residents to complete approved CE courses and pay the $15 continuance fee for the 2011-2012 biennium is December 31, 2012. This fee must be paid each biennium so that the required CE credits can be applied for compliance.
Non-resident agents/consultants must pay the $15 continuance fee by December 31, 2012. Non-resident agents/consultants may pay this fee any time during the biennium, and provided they are in good standing in their home state, will then be placed in compliance in Virginia for the 2011-2012 biennium.

Association Maintenance Services are now available electronically allowing individuals to submit their association with business entities. The business entity may now submit individual affiliations and/or terminations through Sircon's Compliance Express by clicking on the link in the left-hand column of this page.
