Important Notices

Pennsylvania License Renewal Dates Moving to Birth Month for Insurance Producers, Limited Lines Producers, and Title Agents

Effective November 16, 2009, a new licensee’s initial license term will be set to expire on the last day of the first birth month occurring at least 24 months after the license approval date for the following license types only:

  • Non-Resident Insurance Producer
  • Resident Insurance Producer
  • Non-Resident Limited Lines Producer
  • Resident Limited Lines Producer
  • Non-Resident Title Agent
  • Resident Title Agent

Through March 2010, active licenses for the listed license types will be transitioned to the birth month renewals.

  • Through February 28, 2010, licensees will renew as usual by the license expiration date currently set. Upon renewal, the renewal date will be set to the last day of the first birth month occurring at least 24 months after the license renewal date (24 to 35 months).
  • On March 1, 2010, all applicable licenses (excluding those with pending renewals) that have not previously converted to a birth month expiration date at their regularly scheduled renewal will be converted to a birth month expiration date. At that time, the renewal date will be set to the last day of the first birth month occurring for a minimum 24 month license (24 to 35 months). Please note that licenses with pending renewals will be allowed to roll forward to the end of birth month expiration date at the time of their renewal.

YOUR RENEWAL LICENSE IS AVAILABLE THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AFTER YOU RENEW ON LINE THROUGH SIRCON. NEW APPLICANTS THAT APPLY ON LINE THROUGH SIRCON CAN VERIFY THEIR INFORMATION ON THE PA WEBSITE ONCE ISSUED.
