Sircon Releases Advanced Producer Credentials and Data Synchronization Capabilities for its Sircon for Carriers Platform

OKEMOS, Mich. – September 16, 2009 – Sircon, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vertafore, Inc., – a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions across the insurance-industry spectrum – today released the latest version of its Sircon for Carriers™ platform with new capabilities to help manage producer relationships and credentialing needs.

Enhancements to Sircon’s carrier platform in this latest version include improved data reconciliation, better reporting capabilities, more effective workflow integration, and enhancements to producer data synchronization.

Today's announcement follows several significant developments in the Sircon for Carriers platform, reflecting the organization's commitment to remain on the cutting edge of industry innovation:

  • Producer records synchronized with the National Producer Database (PDB) can now be updated from the most recent synchronization date with no setup required.
  • When processing license applications, licensing specialists can now see producer status results – including "approve/deny" or "pass/fail" statuses – from their states by specific qualification or line of authority.
  • Reporting capabilities with hierarchies have been improved to provide better insight into producer/agency/carrier structures, and allow for more effective troubleshooting in the event of missing information.
  • Additional reporting enhancements now include increased visibility into active license and appointment data, which enables licensing staff to display producer data by carrier or state, and promotes increased flexibility to list only license types specific to carriers’ business needs.
  • Increased flexibility now allows producer interview data – including business unit and background information – to be easily stored, avoiding redundant data entry.
