Idaho Selects Sircon Corporation to Help Streamline Insurance Licensing and Regulatory Management
Web-Based Sircon for States™ Solution Provides Improved Service for Insurance Regulators, Companies and Producers
Okemos, Mich., March 6, 2007 - Sircon Corporation today announced that the state of Idaho has signed a three-year agreement to use its Sircon for States™ web-based solution, making Idaho the 17th Sircon State. The move will dramatically increase the online services Idaho provides by connecting insurance carriers, producers, brokers and state regulatory agencies through the Sircon network.
As a new Sircon State, Idaho will also join The State Insurance Regulators Consortium (SIRC). SIRC helps promote uniformity and best practices among insurance regulators and drives the coordination of external programs and systems that interact with the Sircon for States database.
"The Sircon system enables direct online access, allowing us to deliver online, real-time services to our customers - minimizing paperwork and eliminating processing delays," said Idaho's Insurance Deputy Director Shad Priest. "By joining the current group of Sircon States, Idaho will become part of a consortium of states working together towards uniformity."
Sircon will enable the state of Idaho to better manage insurance regulations relating to enforcement case actions, complaints, producer data, and rate and form filing. The Sircon for States platform opens up direct online access to Idaho for insurance carriers and producers to process electronic appointments, terminations, license applications, renewals, continuing education credits, and many other services.
